Partnership and Cooperation with local Fire and Rescue

The STC has:

  • Provided names of local residents familiar with the forest who can help authoriest locate those that are lost or injured.
  • Donated GPS units to Pope County Rescue to help in the location of those who are lost or injured.
  • Donated funding for a rescue trailer to bring injured from forest.
  • Purchased special exhaust for Pope County Rescue to redirect the exhaust fumes of their ATV from injured.

We look forward to continued collaboration with Pope county and any other local Emergency Service providers!
