River To River Road Crossing Signage

The STC funded the creation and installation of horse crossing signs along the River to River Trail, where the path intersects several busy roads with limited visibility.

These signs serve as an important safety measure, alerting motorists to trail crossings and helping to protect both equestrians and hikers.

Installation was carried out by directors Terry Wheeler, Kenny Wiseman, and Jack Flammang, and the Conservancy continues to maintain the signage as part of our ongoing commitment to trail safety. By taking these steps, we aim to reduce risks at road crossings and support a safer experience for all who enjoy the Shawnee.
