The Shawnee Trail Conservancy is a nonprofit advocacy organization that works to keep access for all users in the Shawnee National Forest. We volunteer our time and talents to work with private landowners, local campgrounds, legislators, county government, US Forest Service and the different user groups to keep our access to both private and public lands in and adjacent to the Shawnee National Forest.

We rely on membership from individual users and organizations who enjoy the beautiful Shawnee and surrounding land to fund our organization.

Most of our funds go directly to the trail in the form of gravel on private trails. These private trails may be the only access to the Shawnee from the private campgrounds. We also donate to emergency departments and emergency training classes. Having the necessary training and tools in a crisis is vital to an individual's safety.

We also have public easements with private landowners so that we may connect to designated trails that would not have been designated without our easement.

Please consider either renewal of your membership or becoming a new member. We cannot continue our work without your help.
